Ecoprinting Altar Cloths & Vintage Linens, August 3

| /

Saturday, August 3rd, 10 AM - 2 PM

Gather on the land to experience the abundance in the Summer Dye Gardens.  We will be ecoprinting and dyeing vintage linens and silk altar cloths. We will start by walking the land and learning about the magical, healing, and dye properties of many flowers and leaves. We will use these amazing plants to create crisp leaf and flower prints as well as abstract, vibrant, and colorful works of art to bring home with you to decorate your table.  It is the magical alchemy of plants, water, heat, and pressure!

While our creations steam over the fire, we can enjoy our freshly picked herbal tea, seasonal snacks, and journey into the woods.

You will take home with you a 22 x 22 inch silk and one small vintage linen.

What should you bring?

  • Clothes that can get messy &/or an apron
  • Closed-toe shoes if you want to walk in the woods
  • I will have herbal tea and light snacks (gluten and dairy free), but you are welcome to bring a snack/lunch if you prefer.  Clean, cold well water is available.
  • Sun hat & sunscreen (though shade will be available)

No experience necessary, just the desire to learn and have fun.
